CM meets FATA leaders

A delegation of political leaders from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) led by Dr Bashir Ahmad Khan‚ called on Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in the city on Wednesday afternoon.

Speaking to them‚ Sharif said that the eradication of the scourge of terrorism is indispensable for the progress and prosperity of the country. He added that under the dynamic leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif‚ the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) will steer the country out of the crises and problems it is currently facing. The CM underlined the need for unifying all political forces to curb terror.

Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah also met with the CM in Lahore to discuss matters of mutual interest.
