David Bowie’s back with the latest visual off his recent album, “The Next Day.”
The singer dropped his “Valentine’s Day” video online early Tuesday morning, and the spot sees Ziggy Stardust jamming on a red guitar in front of an industrial backdrop. No one else appears in the video, which was directed by Indrani and Markus Klinko. That’s a bit of a twist: most of Bowie’s other “Next Day” videos have featured some big names alongside the singer.
Bowie’s clip for the album’s title track starred not only himself but Marion Cotillard and Gary Oldman. That video was set in a sort of church brothel. “Where Are We Now?” — Bowie’s comeback single — debuted with its own video, and
“The Stars Are (Out Tonight)” got a treatment that featured Tilda Swinton.
