At least two Frontier Constabulary (FC) officials were killed while another sustained injuries in a militant attack on a checkpost near Bajaur Agency.
Militants attacked a checkpost in Amanta area of Mamunda tehsil at night between Wednesday and Thursday.
The militants escaped from the area when security officials returned the fire.
Security forces cordoned off the area after the incident and started a search operation.
