Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General (IG) Ehsan Ghani on Wednesday said there was a big difference between the situation in Karachi and the situation in KP.
Talking to reporters, he said police personnel and general people were being targeted for the last few days in the province for which the police was taking important measures.
Reacting to the statement, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) said Ghani’s statement “against” Karachi was biased.
MQM members in the National and provincial assemblies said the situation in Karachi was not pleasant but was not disastrous like that in Peshawar.
