An extension of the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) at Jamshoro was inaugurated on Wednesday. The extension is a medical college which was constructed on the orders of the Sindh Governor Qaim Ali Shah. In connection to the college’s opening, a meeting was held at Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) in Kahirpur.
The meeting was chaired by LUMHS Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Naushad Shaikh. Dr Shaikh briefed the participants that the newly launched medical centre would go a long way in training and soling health problems not only for the district but for the entire province.
