A three-member bench of Supreme Court Karachi Registry heard case on the law and order situation prevailing in Karachi. During the hearing‚ a report was submitted on said issue on behalf of Sindh Rangers director general.
Furthermore during the hearing, members of the Board of Revenue informed the court that land record survey of Karachi Division had been successfully concluded.The officials also submitted the refurbished record of 870 villages which has been destroyed during the riots following Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s assassination in 2007. The court appreciated the exercise and directed the maintenance of transparency during revamping of the records.
Restored? I doubt it. The fire was an opportunity to adjust many things in the record. Time will tell and GOD help us all!
