An airhostess of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was arrested on Tuesday when she tried to smuggle in a large quantity of smartphones.
According to media reports, airhostess named Nusrat arrived at Islamabad via PIA flight PK 786 from London. During routine search, Customs officials found 48 smartphones from her luggage. The Customs officials have taken the airhostess into custody.
The price of each phone is estimated at Rs 70,000.
Earlier, two other airhostesses of national flag carrier were involved in smuggling of drugs in laptop and in an aircraft toilet.
They were gifts. She has a large family 🙂
PK786 was cancelled yesterday the arrival time was this morning 07.40 am from London to Islamabad but no news on tv and newspapers. it`s very surprise
