As many as four people drowned in water on Monday in two separate incidents, according to a police spokesperson.
Police said Najma along with her son Hassan, while crossing the Bani Gala Nullah were swept away from the bridge due to the force of the water.
Meanwhile, two persons namely Ali and Owais, residents of Chaklala drowned in Kurang Nullah, near Nilore Police Station precincts. Police while quoting the villagers said that the boys lost control of their board while tacking and consequently drowned in the water.
Police said that efforts were being carried out to fish out the dead bodies.
