Communal Iftar arrangements in twin-cities

Communal Iftar arrangements by Non-Government Organisations (NGO) have been made at various areas of the city for the poor and needy.

Eleven such communal iftar arrangements by the elite, welfare organizations and NGOs have been arranged for the poor, travelers, patients and attendants of the patients at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Pir Wadhai, Faizabad, A.K. Fazal ul Haq Road and Karachi Company, while communal iftars in Rawalpindi include at Liaqat Bagh, Benazir Shaheed Hospital, Distrcit Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital, Raja Bazaar, Peshawar Road and other areas.

However, the largest communal iftar, Madni Dastarkahawan, is yet to start while Bahria Town’s largest communal iftar for 4,000 persons is already in progress.

Various multi national companies and organisations are also distributing iftar packs on roads and streets to commuters.
