An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday once again ordered the crime branch police to produce the main accused in the Akbar Bugti murder case, former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf before the bench.

The Judge of ATC Quetta, Muhammad Ismail Baloch was hearing the Akbar Bugti murder case where the crime branch officials presented Pervez Musharraf’s challan in the court. The court issuing protection order of Musharraf directed the crime branch to produce him in the next hearing.

During the hearing the crime branch also presented investigation report about former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, former DCO of Dera Bugti, Samad Lasi before the court and the court rejected the report by expressing lack of confidence.

  1. It is a fact Musharraf faces serious threat. The judge can go to his farm house or Musharraf can attend proceedings via video link. Also, moving Musharraf to and from will cost national exchequer much more than the court going to his farmhouse. Video link is the cheapest option.

What do you mean "serious threat" ???
This is Pakistan — 'The land of the Generals' …
      .

  2. Musharraf does not deserve the level of security being provided to him. He should be treated like any other ordinary murderer.

Declaring a criminal’s own home a sub-jail is joke with blood of the victims. My salutes to the judge who is refusing to conduct trial at his farm house. Where in the world courts are set up at suspect’s residence – not even in the case of Chili’s ex-dictators from Army.

  3. President Musharraf is far too good for this nation. pakistan deserves people like THE Sharif’s while THE awam is dying Everyday these animals are busy with their personal vendetta its not THE Sharif’s but Also THE courts. But let them settle scores..their days Will come too.
