16 outlaws arrested, 146 vehicles impounded

The Capital Police on Monday impounded 10 vehicles and 136 motorcycles and arrested 15 outlaws during checking in various areas of the city.

According to a police spokesman, Sub-Inspector Abdul Sattar from Tarnol Police Station arrested drug pusher Akbar Zaman and recovered 1.1 kilograms of hashish from him.

Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Sub Inspector Ali Asghar arrested Amjad Sultan and Muhammad Waseem for carrying two pistols while ASI Zafar Iqbal recovered a tampered vehicle (LEC-8478) from Altaf.

ASI Muhammad Ishfaq from Sihala Police Station arrested Khalid Mehmood and recovered a 12 bore gun from his possession. ASI Zaheer Ahmed from Koral Police Station arrested Aqeel Sabir for one wheeling. ASIs Shakeel and Muhammad Hanif from Aabpara Police Station arrested 9 persons identified as Naveed Ahmed, Kashif, Usman, Fahad, Hussain Haider, Waleed Khan , Afzal ur Rehman, Ali Syed and Umar Farooq for their performing one wheeling. ASI Waheed Ahmed from Sabzi Mandi Police arrested Abu Bakr for displaying revolving light on his private vehicle.

Meanwhile, black tinted papers from 30 vehicles were removed and 28 suspects were arrested during different search operations in the city.
