Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that national security is the top priority of the government.
Ishaq Dar expressed these views while talking to Chief of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt on Saturday. The PAF chief briefed the finance minister about the financial matters of the air force.
On the occasion, Dar said the PML-N government was committed to resolving all lingering problems of armed forces including the PAF and assured that all requirements of the air force would be fulfilled.
Tahir Rafique Butt assured the finance minister that PAF would try to minimise the expenditures to lessen the burden on national exchequer.
