At least 12 passengers died and 16 sustained severe injuries on Friday when a bus plunged into a ravine. The incident occurred near Chakwal when a bus overturned and plunged into a ravine in the Salt Range on the motorway. Rescue teams reached the scene and shifted the dead and injured to nearby hospitals.
