Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) One Window formed to facilitate students in the process of submission of forms, fees and other related matters have failed miserably.
Students and parents coming from far flung areas have to stand in long queues in the scorching heat, in order to submit their admission forms and fees due to lack of adequate sitting arrangements.
A few students said that there are no separate counters for females, disabled persons and senior citizens. They opined, “The board has failed to provide us with photocopy facility on the premises.” The students also complained of the lengthy and tedious process of verification of certificates suggesting that it should be made easy and short.
FBISE spokesman Akhtar Shah said that students are provided with over a month for submission of their forms and fees but are too lazy to do submit it well in time. “When deadline approaches they throng the banks and board office creating a mess for themselves as well for the board officials. If the students submit their fees and forms timely there would be less trouble and hassle,” he said.
The students and parents demanded the FBISE officials to make bank challan forms available in multiple branches of their bank throughout the city to facilitate students in submitting their documents.
