PAF jet crashes near Mianwali, pilot safely ejects

A training aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force(PAF) crashed in the outskirts of Punjab’s Mianwali district on Thursday, but the pilot ejected safely.
An Inter-Services Public Relations(ISPR) spokesman said that the F-7P fighter jet was on a routine operational training mission when it crashed due to ‘technical reasons’ in a village near Isakhel in Mianwali district.
The pilot, Flight Lieutenant Taha who managed to eject safely, sustained minor injuries. Security forces arrived at the crash site and cordoned off the area. No loss of civilian life or property has been reported on the ground. A board of enquiry has been ordered by the Air Headquarters.
