The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday summoned Station House Officer (SHO) Aabpara on July 12 for non registration of First Information Report (FIR) in missing person case.

A single member bench of IHC comprising Justice Shoukat Aziz Siddiqui resumed hearing of a plea filed by Aamira Riaz, resident of Loi Bher seeking registration of FIR regarding her son Qazi Muhammad Ibrahim who is missing. The petitioner has made Director General Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Director General Intelligence Bureau and Inspector General Police (IGP) as respondents in the case.

During the course of the hearing, Muhammad Tariq counsel for the petitioner apprised the bench that his client’s son ran a real estate business and is missing. He argued that SHO Aabpara was not lodging the FIR of the case despite repeated efforts.

Tariq prayed the court to direct SHO Aabpara for registration of FIR of her missing son and recover him at the earliest.
