Pakistan stocks hit another record high at 22,984 points

Karachi Stock Exchange’s (KSE) record-breaking spree continues as it scaled yet another unprecedented peak of 22,984.94 points here.
The benchmark KSE 100-Index beefed up by 263.72 points or 1.16 percent to reach the new dizzy height.
The volumes swelled close to a 4-year high of Rs18 billion at the apex bourse.
Large cap stocks supported overall activity as foreign inflows increased, evident from the fact that top three stocks made 35 percent of the volume.
Strong institutional interest boosted Pakistan State Oil Co Ltd by 5 percent. It closed at Rs346.80 to make it to the list of star performers.
On the other hand, another top gainer, Engro Corporation Ltd grew by 3.09 percent to finish at Rs159.50.
