Amir allowed to play domestic cricket

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has allowed Muhammad Amir to play domestic cricket with some conditions lifting the ban imposed on the tainted bowlers for spot-fixing.

It has been learnt that the ICC has officially informed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) about permitting Amir to play domestic cricket.

Amir has been allowed to play domestic cricket for one year and after that, the ICC will assess his performance and attitude to decide his future.

The Pakistan bowler had been considered a great addition in the team it was expected that he would shine more with passage of time but suddenly everything changed with spot-fixing swindle.

A British court awarded jail to three top Pakistani cricketers including Salman Butt, Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Amir in spot-fixing case.

Later on, the court showed generosity to Amir and sent him to rehabilitation jail for being youngster and new in the cricket.

Asif and Salman Butt completed their jail term and filed petitions against their bans from the ICC but failed to get any relaxation.

Being young and immature at time of scam, Muhammad Amir had been punished less and all veteran cricketers and PCB showed sympathy for him and his career.

Now luck has smiled towards him again briefly and he has got permission to play cricket domestically by the ICC.

It is expected that after completion of this one year, Muhammad Amir will be allowed to play international cricket again.

Earlier last month, a five-member ICC sub-committee, which was set up after the 2013 annual conference to review the anti-corruption code, was formed to look into relaxing certain conditions of the five-year ban imposed on Amir after the spot-fixing scandal of 2010.

However, The PCB has already allowed Amir to use its facilities for training and now on the reque4st of the PCB the ICC five-member committee has recommended lifting of the ban from Amir allowing him play the domestic cricket.

  15. Once biten twice shy. Amir wasnot an infant when he sold us , he sold our mother land n should have been hanged instead he’s been allowed to play again, what is this , is this a joke ?
    We Pakistani s should wait to be sd agin !

    • dear brother, u r right that it is not a joke.
      but every crime has its punishment level. and i think at the age of 20 md aamir has faced enough to learn. there are so many boys over 20 age who are committing many crime and they too are facing the punishment. so it doesnot mean that they should be hanged till death. so u answer me 1 question that murdering takes u first punishment level as a life time imprisonment and then after if again caught ,then he/she is hanged till death. why?

  16. All human beings commit mistakes and the better is who learns from their mistakes. Amir received punishment and has learnt lesson. Now he has every right to play for Pakistan again. Congra! To all Pakistani,s. He is the next wasim akram. He will be the number one on ICC ranking 2014.

    • Sorry to say that your son will do the same thing which u will tell him nd if u r a cheater then u will teach him to cheat nd those who learns from their mistakes make their name in the world.

    • no, but forgiveness after punishment is enough to teach someone.what we do in these das that either we forgive others or punish them.
      but its different when u r punishing also and then saying ok i forgive u.

  24. These all news are fake and the icc did not allowed to Amir for domestic playing.the next meeting of icc will be held in oct then they will decide to allow Amir or not for domestic playing.
