Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has issued a new schedule for power load shedding during the holy month of Ramadan.
LESCO Chief Engineer Muhammad Saleem said that the company has chalked out a new schedule according to which all domestic, commercial and industrial consumers would have to experience 10-hour long periods of load shedding. He said that the consumers would be given relief during Sehr, Iftar and Taraweeh times while industries would face 10 consecutive hours of load shedding from 6 PM to 4 AM.
Saleem further added that LESCO is receiving a quota of 2400 MW, and an increase in that quota may give further relief to consumers.
