PML-N govt head on with crisis: Raja Zafar ul Haq

Oath taking ceremony of newly elected office bearers of Raja Bazaar trade union was held on Tuesday.

Although, the country is facing grave challenges but the PML-N government will steer the country out of these crisis as all out efforts are being made, said Senator Raja Zafar ul Haq while addressing the ceremony.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Muhammad Yousaf also expressed faith in the policies of the new government. They appreciated the efforts of the Sharif-led government to pull the country out of the economic turmoil.

MNAs Malik Ibrar, Raja Javed Ikhlas, MPA Raja Hanif, former MNA Malik Shakeel Awan, All Pakistan Anjuman Tajran (APAT) Chairman Multan Khawaja Shafiq, APAT Central President Faisalabad Abdul Mannan, APAT General Secretary Lahore Naeem Mir and a large number of trade union representatives were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion Raja said that the government was taking effective steps to meet the challenges, where energy crisis have closed down various businesses and industries. He remarked that the previous government did not bother to initiate steps to end energy crisis but remained busy in corruption.

“During the last tenure of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) economy of the country and the currency was far stable,” he added.

Furthermore, he said the government was tackling challenges head on to drag the country out of the existing crisis and people will witness change very soon.

He also paid rich tributes to the nation for making a mature decision to give clear cut majority to PML-N saying that split mandate could create problems for the government.

Religious Minister Sardar Yousaf said that Pakistan became a nuclear power 15 years ago and conditions faced today does not reflect the efficiency and effectiveness of a nuclear armed state. He said that solid steps are being taken to ease the sufferings of the people.

The minister urged the business community to come forward and play a role to bring visible change in the society.

Other speakers also highlighted the efforts being made to overcome the challenges being faced and said that the problems could not be resolved within days. They urged the citizens to show patience and assured them that all resources were being utilised to generate electricity to meet the national requirements.

Earlier, Raja Zafar ul Haq and Sardar Yousaf took oath from President Raja Bazaar Trade union Shahid Ghafoor Paracha and other office bearers.
