The capital police on Tuesday during general holdup rounded up 65 suspects and impounded 10 vehicles, 30 motorcycles in different police stations.
A police spokesperson said that following directions from senior officers’ Aabpara Police Station and Sabzi Mandi Police Station shifted 40 vehicles to their premises.
Tinted glasses were also removed from the vehicles and police teams arrested 65 suspects during a search operation.
The aim of the general holdup is to maintain law and order in the capital and to curb criminal activities.
Inspector General Police Bani Amin Khan and Senior Superintendent Police Yaseen Farooq appreciated the performance of the police department.
