Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has remarked that the rental power case would be heard after the appointment of chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
He gave these remarks while presiding over a three-member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) during the course of hearing of the rental power case on Monday.
The court observed, “As the process of induction of new NAB chairman could not be completed and NAB is dealing with all the matters, therefore, we are adjourning the hearing.”
The proceedings were later adjourned for an indefinite period.
