The Bank of Punjab (BoP) management has told the Supreme Court (SC) that they have worked out complaint against 20 people, including Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Chaudhry Moonis Elahi and Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain which will soon be presented.
A three-member bench, led by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Chaudhry, took up BoP corruption case on Monday.
The BoP counsel told the court a complaint has been evolved against 20 persons. Former Punjab chief minister Pervaiz Elahi, his son Moonis Elahi and cousin Wajahat Hussain are among the 20 people. Directors of colony group have also been included therein.
The court has sought report from the BoP management on preparation of reference against these 20 persons and other matters.
The hearing of the case was adjourned for two weeks.
