Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Sunday foiled a bid to smuggle drugs to Manchester City of the United Kingdom and arrested a woman from Benazir International Airport, Islamabad in this connection.

According to details, ANF detained a drug smuggler departing from Islamabad to Manchester in Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-701 and seized 10 kilogrammes of heroin from her possession.

The woman, namely Salma, who was ready to board the plane, was arrested from the lounge of the airport by ANF personnel.
