The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board on Friday approved a budget of Rs 2778.2 million for the fiscal year 2013-14 in a meeting presided over by Station Commander Brigadier Zaman Nasarullah Khan.
In the budget, Rs 719.7 million would be allocated the employees’ salaries and Rs 656.9 million for miscellaneous expenditure. Moreover, Rs 1070 million were approved for developmental projects, Rs 217.5 million for maintenance and Rs 100 million for the Cantt Board GeneralHospital.
The station commander praised the progress made by CEO Rana Manzoor Ahmed Khan for 100 percent recovery of taxes, and expressed the hope that 100 percent tax recoveries would be ensured during the current year too.
