The police on Thursday arrested at least 30 suspected criminals, including three proclaimed offenders, recovering arms from them in a raid near Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s house in Jati Umra, Raiwind.
According to details, the police conducted a raid in LakhowalVillage on a tip-off.
During the operation, all entry and exit points of the village were sealed.
The police also recovered one light machine gun, kalashnikovs, 7mm rifles and other ammunition from the arrested.
Cases have been registered and investigations initiated.
