No one ready to take action against killers: JI

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh Chief Dr Mairaj-ul-Huda Siddiqui has demanded of the government to arrest the killers of JI slain worker Aslam Saeed who was gunned down by armed terrorists in Shah Faisal Town on Monday.

He made this demand after attending the funeral prayers of slain JI worker at new M A Jinnah Road. A large number of party workers, sympathisers and relatives of the deceased attended the funeral prayers.

JI leaders Muhammad Hussain Mahenti, Naseem Siddiqui, Naib Ameer Sindh Asadullah Bhutto, Naib Ameers Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, Nasrullah Shajih, Syed Muhammad Iqbal, Raja Arif  Sultan, Secretary Information Zahid Askari, former JI MPA Younus Barai, JI East Ameer Osama Razi and others also attended the funeral prayers of the deceased.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Siddiqui said the city has become the safe haven for target killers and terrorists.

“Dozens of innocent people are being killed on daily basis, but no one is ready to take action against the killers,” he added.

He said the deceased JI worker, Aslam Saeed, was a noble and thorough gentleman and his killers must be brought to justice.

On the occasion, Mahenti said the city was in the control of terrorists and they were roaming freely without ant fear of arrest.

He further said that the JI workers were being targeted but the government, police, Rangers and LEAs had failed to ensure safety to the property and life of the people.

Mahenti demanded of the government to arrest the killers of Aslam Saeed, Faisal Lot, Hanif Ansari, Younus Gul and others JI workers. Osama Razi and Naseem Siddiqui also spoke on the occasion.
