The city on Wednesday witnessed an unabated spate of bloodshed due to which at least five individuals lost their lives.
According to police, unidentified killers targeted a 32-year old male identified as Asad Ullah. The deceased was shot and killed near the Sadar parking plaza. The police swiftly reached the scene of the crime and removed the body to a hospital for autopsy. Meanwhile, the law-enforcing agencies recovered the body of a male, bearing signs of torture, from them the Lee market area. In an unrelated case, another corpse was taken into custody by the police which had been found floating in the Lyari River. The locality of Lyari presented a harassed view after continuous shooting and firing in the area by unidentified miscreants.
