With arms wide open…

 

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has directed all provincial ministers to open their doors for people and resolve their issues.

Addressing a meeting with members of national and provincial assemblies from Sargodha division at the Chief Minister’s House on Sunday, he said only those ministers could sustain at their offices who would serve the masses. He vowed the Punjab would be made a model province by good governance, writ of law and eradication of corruption and said that historic mandate given by people would be respected.

The chief minister said all problems of people, including load shedding would end soon, adding that it was responsibility of the elected representatives to indicate dishonest officers. He said corruption would never be tolerated and strict action would be taken against corrupt officers, adding that one thousand sub-inspectors would be employed through Public Service Commission for eradication of ‘thana culture’.

State minister Ameenul Hasnat, provincial ministers including Rana Sanaullah, Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar, Tanvir Aslam Malik, Tahir Khalil Sindhu, Begum Zakia Shahnwaz and several provincial officers were also present on the occasion.
