UK to support Pakistan achieve education mandate

Supporting authorities of Pakistan to achieve the mandate of education in the country is the UK’s top priority. The United Kingdom (UK) through British Council plans to improve the state of education and taking initiatives which will provide opportunities to children to get quality education within the country and abroad. The children intending to get education in the UK would be facilitated at every level. In a joint seminar organized by Edexcel and British Council on ‘Latest Trends in UK Qualifications and Curriculum’, Ronald Davis Examinations Product Manager, British Council said the British Council creates international opportunities for the people of the UK and other countries and builds trust between them worldwide. In Pakistan we create opportunities to experience the best of the United Kingdom. We are working with partners in the UK and in Pakistan to build relationships that last with institutions. The joint seminar was attended by officials of the British Council, Edexcel International team, Lahore Grammar, Beacon House, Froebel’s, Allied School, Salamat ICAS and other representatives of schools in Lahore. While addressing the seminar, David Davies, Director of Stakeholder Management, Edexcel UK said, “Pearson-Edexcel’s UK qualification due to its rigorous process is acclaimed world ever. Edexcel is proud to have taken this initiative to update the international community about the latest trends in UK curriculum and qualifications as we are aware that a lot of students from Pakistan.
