On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Sunday established a Complaint Centre at its Johar Town office for receiving complaints regarding accumulation of rain water and problems pertaining to its speedy disposal in the approved private housing schemes situated in LDA’s controlled area.
The complaint centre will function round the clock. Residents of these schemes may contact telephone numbers 99262332, 99262392 and 0322-8888497, in case of any such complaint. Staff deputed at the complaint centre will take immediate action for redress of their grievances.
Earlier, LDA directed administration of all the approved private housing schemes situated in LDA’s controlled area for immediately finalising necessary arrangements and adopting all possible measures for quick drainage of storm water from their respective schemes during Monsoon, failing which stern legal action will be taken against them.
A Parking Company has suddenly cropped up from nowhere in Lahore.Who owns this company,no one knows.Could it be another Tandoor or yellow cab adventure?Apparently yes because Police is being used to remove existing arrangements.Unless it is transparent it would be another bell around the neck of PML N.
