Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif visited the residence of a 12-year-old boy Nasir Bhatti in Badami Bagh who was killed by unidentified men a few days ago and gave a Rs 0.3 million cheque to the victim’s family members as financial assistance.
Hamza expressed his condolences to the father of the victim Kafeel Bhatti and other family members over this tragic incident. He sympathised with the bereaved family and assured that all out efforts will be made for the arrest of the murderers of the innocent child and police will utilise all its resources for this purpose.
Provincial Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman was also present on the occasion.
Earlier, DSP and SHO of the area informed Hamza that the element of family feud could not be ruled out in the murder of the child. They said that the investigation was being made on scientific lines for bringing the culprits to justice. Hamza gave a deadline of one week to DSP and SHO for tracing the criminals so that justice could be provided to the bereaved family.
Talking to the journalists on this occasion, Hamza said that redressal of grievances of the aggrieved and provision of relief to the people was the pivot of the politics of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N). He said that PML-N was making all out efforts to come up to the expectations of the masses.
