3 labourers killed, 4 injured in Naseerabad ambush

 

 

 

Unidentified armed men shot and killed three labourers and injured four others in Tambo tehsil of Naseerabad district early on Monday morning.

Khan Kot Station House Officer Abid Ali Bangulzai said the labourers working on a road project in Tambo were asleep at night when the unidentified armed men riding motorbikes arrived and opened indiscriminate fire, leaving three of them dead and four injured.

“The victims were working on an ongoing road project from Imrani Shakh to Magsi Shakh area,” he said.

The assailants managed to escape from the scene.

After receiving information, police rushed to the site and shifted the dead and injured to hospital.

The deceased were identified as Dur Muhammad Mengal, Abdul Jabbar and Gul Muhammad Jamali and the injured include Madad Ali, Khadim Hussain, Habibullah and Qadir Bakhsh Nichari.

Later, the injured were referred to LarkanaCivilHospital for being in serious condition.

The bodies of the dead have been handed over to the heirs after autopsy.

The police cordoned off the area and launched a search to trace the suspects.
