OGRA proposes hike in POL prices

The prices of petroleum products are likely to increase by Rs 2.66 per litre form July 1, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a summary to the Petroleum Ministry proposing increase in Petrol price by Rs 2.66 per litre, reported a private TV channel on Saturday.
Rs 3.66 per litre increase in price of high speed diesel and Rs 3 per litre in diesel while increase in price of high octane by Rs 2.36 has also been proposed by OGRA.
The summary would be approved on Sunday while the new prices would come into effect from July 1.
