On the request of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the Establishment Division has surrendered five bureaucrats to the former with immediate effect.
According to official sources, the five officials are Taseer Jamal Alizai, Afzal Latif, Mian Waheeduddin, Jodat Ayaz and Raheel Siddiqui.
Waheeduddin had served in the Prime Minister’s Secretariat whereas Ayaz was joint secretary in the Communications Ministry. Other three have served the federal government in various important capacities.
The PTI leaders have requisitioned services of these five civil officers in connection with their agenda of change and reforms. One of these officers will be posted as additional chief secretary. He will not only look after day to day affairs but would also serve as the planning and development secretary and the board of governors’ chairman of the Bank of Khyber. Other officers would be posted as finance, establishment and general administration secretaries.
