Volunteers of the Civil Defense have been deployed at 10 gates of the District Courts along with police officials for the security of judges, lawyers and litigants. The volunteers will assist police officials in checking visitors at the entrances of the District Courts. A team of police officials held a survey in the District Courts and courts complexes of Sector G-10 and emphasised the need for repair of out-of-order walk-through gates. Saddar Superintendent Police Jameel Hashmi said that the deputy commissioner (DC) has been informed of the need for walk-through gates and the installation of closed circuit cameras on important points has also been proposed.
