The figure is expected to rise up to Rs700 million till June 30. During the current fiscal year, Rs185 million were recovered till May 31 in terms of water charges, while the recoveries will cross Rs 200 million till June 30. Regarding the increase in charges, the CDA officials are of the view that the tax charges have not increased in recent years, therefore it is needed.
