The Lahore High Court on Friday extended interim bail of former federal minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i- Insaf (PTI) MNA Ghulam Sarwar Khan in fake degree case till July 05.
During the hearing, Ghulam Sarwar’s lawyer told the LHC that his client was entangled in fake degree case on political grounds, therefore his bail should be confirmed.
The Punjab Prosecutor General Sadaqat Ali Khan said that the order for extension was made after investigation. The court summoned the Registrar of Bahawalpur University with all the record while extending the bail till July 5.
