CDA chief directs vigilance, strict monsoon measures

Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Nadeem Hassan Asif directed officials of Flood Relief Cell, to perform their duties efficiently during the monsoon season, at a meeting held at CDA headquarters.
Reviewing the progress of arrangements made for the upcoming monsoon season he directed the officers to remain vigilant and take effective measures through joint coordinated efforts to cope with any untoward situation.
He directed for a comprehensive survey, especially in those areas of the city where floods could cause possible. He stressed upon availability and smooth functioning of pumping systems at high-rise buildings in the city. Flood Relief Cell officials apprised the chairman of detailed plans and measures chalked out for flood handling demarcating areas threatened by monsoon floods.

On this occasion Member Environment, Ahsan Ali Mangi, Member Engineering, Sanaullah Aman, Member Administration, Munir Ahmad Chaudhry, Director General Civic Management, Director General Environment, officers of Emergency and Disasters Management, Roads Directorate, Sanitation Directorate, Municipal Administration, City Sewerage Division, MPO, Health Services Directorate were also present.
