Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif took notice of non-provision of gas supply to thermal power houses on Tuesday, giving orders to ensure supply. According to the statement released from PM House, Sharif ordered to ensure gas supply to power houses on immediate basis and sought report from the concerned authorities. Generation of electricity was severely affected due to non-provision of gas to thermal power houses.
