Imran didn’t take mangoes from Zardari

Sending mangoes to your friends and family is a customary practice in Pakistan. A fresh mango crate is not only considered to be a gesture of goodwill but is also a welcome fruit in these soaring temperatures.

Living up to the mango tradition, President Asif Ali Zardari sent 50 crates of mangos from his native district of Nawabshah to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan.

However, upon receiving the mangos, Imran had them distributed among people. This was a clear message to the president that his gesture of goodwill was not welcome.

It is not known what Prime Minister Nawaz did with his 50 mango crates.
