Sending mangoes to your friends and family is a customary practice in Pakistan. A fresh mango crate is not only considered to be a gesture of goodwill but is also a welcome fruit in these soaring temperatures.
Living up to the mango tradition, President Asif Ali Zardari sent 50 crates of mangos from his native district of Nawabshah to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan.
However, upon receiving the mangos, Imran had them distributed among people. This was a clear message to the president that his gesture of goodwill was not welcome.
It is not known what Prime Minister Nawaz did with his 50 mango crates.
Rafaqat Zaman saab, do you think Nawaz Sharif sat down and sucked all of his share with bro Shahbaz Sharif?
NS sucks all mango’s gifted by his bro’s zardari
bhai yeh banda kabhi mature nai hoga ! hamasha publicity stunt marayga 70 saal ka hokay bhi ! tameez or ikhlaq bhi koi cheez hoti hai, doosri taraf wo zardari apni maturity and patience show karta ja raha hai jis say us ko long term may faida hoga jo k PPP walon ka khasa hai !
Gift accepting or sending is a token appreciation and letting others share your gift is a token of Selfless Humanity.

He shud’ve sent Barnol instead.. Accept ho jani thi.. Aglay k mizaaj k mutabiq gift bhejna chahiye.. Kya samjhay?
It is not Imran only but all politicians and generals are afraid of picking mango crates after C130 incidents in which Pakistani got rid of two corrupt generals along with many innocent victims. So after fall from lifter IK is not mood of taking any other risk for his little life.
it is sindh tradition to send mengo to friends for good relation and not for any work
IK and sharif can afford Mangoes and we know how good Zardari thinks about them. This sindh tradition is only limited to rich class or poor also can benefit from such gestures??.Then Zardari should send at least two crates to each voters of his sisters whom was elected by same Sindhi power.
I think a goodwill gesture should be reciprocated. Differences aside, I believe it is not good to embarrass somebody like this. These are not qualities that exude leadership, rather petty antics one can expect from rural housewives who don't have much to look forward to in life. He has now entered political life and should understand this more as a profession and learn. These things do not reflect very nicely of him.
As per the story above, Imran did not refuse to accept the gift – all he did was he distributed the mangoes among people. That was probably the best thing to do instead of letting these mangoes rot, what of course any of our traditional politician would have done.
he can not eat 50 crates himself, he might have give the rest to people of pakistan.

Imran Khan distributed Zardari's mangoes but kept Musharraf's dog that lives with him in Bani Galla palace Islamabad.
Pakistanis know your dramas, stop fooling the nation Mr Imran Khan Niazi.
Imran should have distributed Musharaf's dog to the poor? You are the biggest chutiya ever born,!!!
There is lot of difference between a dog and mangoes Mangoes coming from his rival party leader Zardari he was not interested and not accepted Not a big deal He did not deserve the mangoes but those enjoyed the mangoes were the deserving recipients of mangoes Lot of people in Pakistan with low income can not afford to enjoy the King fruit and lucky ones got mangoes and it must have been appreciated by them no matter who was the sender.
come on. It seems most of the people are disturbed just because they didn't get the mangoes. party A sent a gift. Party B received the gift and then did whatever seemed best. Is it an obligation to consume gifts as per the consent of the person who is giving away the gift?? or do you want some discretionary manners for Mr. Zardari?
