Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Nadeem Hassan Asif directed workers to prepare for the upcoming monsoon season with the utmost attention in order to cope with possible natural calamities. The chairman issued these directions during a meeting at CDA Headquarters on Wednesday, in which he reviewed the progress on arrangements for the monsoon. Among those present were Environment Department member Ahsan Ali Mangi, Engineering Department member Sanaullah Aman, Administration member Munir Ahmad Chaudhry, Civic Management director general, Environment Department director general and officers from Emergency and Disasters Management, Roads Directorate, Sanitation Directorate, Municipal Administration, City Sewerage Division, MPO and Health Services Directorate. He added that a comprehensive survey had identified 65 areas in the city where floods could cause heavy damage.
