Sir Syed Public School in Rawalpindi, run under the auspices of Aligarh Old Boys Association, was established in 1956 with the sole objective of reviving the spirit of Aligarh. The foremost aim of the school along with quality education is the character building and multi dimensional growth of its students so that they may emerge as responsible successful citizens and may render useful services to their nation. All the blocks constructed in the school have been nominated after renowned personalities such as Bilal Masjid, Khadija-tul-Kubra Hall, Ayesha Siddiqa Computer Lab, Shibli and Ghazali Library, Maulana Hali Block, Sir Syed Hall and Sheikh Abdullah Science Labs. Bab-e-Sir Syed is also one of the constructions in the school on these lines. The management has been pondering over this matter of building an elegant gate for this established institute. The dream has been fulfilled with the personal interest of Mr Munawar Ali Khan. The inauguration ceremony was held on Wednesday with Wazir Muhammad Khan as the chief guest on the occasion. All members of the Aligrah Old Boys Association attended the event.
