So just as we expected Raanjhanaa has come out on top in Box Office collections of this weekened. It was known that the movie would not start with a bang but it grew steadily over the weekend. It opened on a 25%-30% note and went upto almost 80% mark. There was even more progress over the weekend and people seem to have liked this movie. To break it down – Raanjhanaa earned around 11.5 crores on the first day and collected 12.37 crores on the second. This is good enough to beat Aanand L Rai’s previous flick Tanu Weds Manu. On the other end, Shortcut Romeo and Enemmy opened to some really pathetic response. Both the films shared a total of 25 films across Delhi. Now, with an opening of less than 10% occupancy across the whole country, Shortcut Romeo fell flat on its face and failed to lift itselt up on Day 2 aswell. So when I said ‘pathetic’, I really meant it.
