Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch on Wednesday suspended a district police officer (DPO) other officials for negligence in protection of Quaid Residency in Ziarat.
Initial report was submitted to the CM who later on suspended a DPO, Ziarat police station house officer and two guards deployed at the residency when unidentified terrorists attacked and destroyed it on June 15.
Baloch said attack of national heritages would not be tolerated.
The CM said other officials whose negligence caused destruction of Quaid Residency would face strict action.
Terrorists on June 15 attacked the Quaid Residency in Ziarat, destroying the historical monument where the founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah spent his last days.
