A Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight escaped disaster on Tuesday morning as the pilot managed to land the aircraft safely after a bird hit its engine.
According to details, PIA’s Airbus 310 was approaching Allama Iqbal International Airport when a bird hit one of its engines.
However, the pilot maneuvered the aircraft and landed safely while all the passengers on board also remained safe.

This could have happened to any airliner. The catastrophic move to build prime real estate along the runway by the army is the ONY cause.This has not just happened once .
All over the world millions of dollars are spent to keep the birds away from the the airfield . By allowing a Housing scheme they have encouraged a natural habitat for birds there and hence these things will only get worse.

Raza even Jinnah int Airport karachi is surrounded by residential areas i am not sure if that can be the only reason as this rarely happens there.
