James Gandolfini gobbled a large fried meal worth 2,730 calorie, before washing it down with at least eight alcoholic drinks, just hours before he succumbed to a fatal heart attack. James ordered back-to-back portions of fried prawns with mayonnaise chilli sauce and a large portion of foie gras for his last meal with his 13-year-old son, Michael, the Mirror reported. He also downed two rounds of pina colada, each with two rum chasers on the side, followed by two beers. A source at the Boscolo Exedra Roma hotel’s outdoor restaurant said that nearly everything that the actor ordered was fried. Michael found James collapsed in their hotel room, just three hours after the father-son duo had their meal on Wednesday night. Registered nutritionist Dr Carina Norris said that the meal would have added up to around 2,730 calories and the average amount that is needed by a man is about 2,500 for the whole day.
