Weather to remain hot and dry today

Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours, Pakistan Met Department said on Saturday. According to the office, light rain-thunderstorm may occur at few places of Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas. Day temperatures would rise in most parts of the country during next few days. A new rain system is expected to enter the country on June 25 and the rain spell would last till June 30. Temperature may decrease up to six degree during the rainy days. Saturday’s highest Max Temperatures were Nokhundi 47, Bhakkar, Noorpurthal 46, DI Khan and Kohat 45, MB Din, RY Khan, Bahawalnagar and Risalpur 44, Islamabad 42, Lahore 41, Karachi 36, Peshawar 42, Quetta 39°, Murree 28, Muzaffarabad 42 and Gilgit 42 C.
