One killed, 6 injured in Kurram Agency blast

A man on Sunday was killed and five others were injured after a bomb ripped through their vehicle near Sateen check post.
Lower Kurram Agency Assistant Political Agent Abdul Ghafoor said that a vehicle was on the way from Central Kurram to Sada Bazaar when the bomb planted in it exploded and blew it up near Sateen check post.
The injured people were shifted to Sada Civil Hospital.
Four persons, Iqbal Hussain, Haji Shabbir Hussain, Mujahid Hussain and Baqir Hussain, residents of Mali Khel village of Upper Kurram Agency, went to Karkhana Camp to attend wedding of their friend.
Some unidentified people installed a time bomb on their car that went off when they were returning home. Resultantly, Iqbal, the driver of the car, died on the spot, while others sustained injuries.
The body of the driver was shifted to Parachinar, while the injured were moved to the hospital in Saddar and Hangu.
Separately, a driver has been killed and two Levies officials were injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire on their vehicle in Kharan.
Levies officials said their team was on a routine patrol in Tehsil Basima in District Washak of Balochistan, when they came under attack.
The wounded personnel have been shifted to the local hospital. Levies personnel cordoned off the area and starting a search operation.
